B O A R D  C H A I R
Ken Ciancio is a life long resident of Adams County. He is a graduate of Ranum High School and Regis College where he earned degrees in History and Political Science. Ken currently serves on the Westminster Board of Education and on the Adams County Fire Board of Directors. He is a past volunteer board member of CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties as well as the Community Education Foundation.

V I C E   C H A I R  
​Frederick Alfred Jr a current Adams county resident has been living in Colorado since 2014 originally from Dania Beach Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Colorado School of Mines with a M.S. in Mineral and Energy Economics. Frederick has the desire to serve with purpose and promote equality of opportunities for all Adams County residents.

S E C R E T A R Y 
​Richard Delaney is a Policy Specialist with Colorado Medicaid managing primary care benefits. He has lived in Adams County for the majority of his life and currently resides in Thornton. He received his Masters in Public Health from the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis on health promotion. He is a licensed attorney and practiced litigation in Denver.

Abel Wurmnest is a resident of Adams County who is passionate about philanthropy and the work of nonprofit organizations. In addition to his service on the Adams County Foundation board, Abel also serves on the boards of Philanthropy Colorado and the North Pecos Water & Sanitation District. When he’s not volunteering, he can be found traversing the state in search of nonprofits and fellow philanthropists in his role as executive director of the Anschutz Family Foundation. Abel holds degrees from San Diego State University and the University of Illinois in post-secondary educational leadership and agricultural education, respectively. ​

Billy Gurr is an Adams County resident who is passionate about generating community impact.  He also serves as the Backbone Board of Directors for Rocky Mountain Partnership. Billy brings years of both financial and collaborative experience to the Adams County Foundation. When not volunteering, Billy can be found working in our shared community as the Assistant Vice President, at First Bank

​JoAnn Vondracek is a long time Colorado resident who has lived in Westminster for 42 years.  In addition to being on the board of the Adams County Foundation, she also serves on the Board of Directors of the Credit Union of Colorado and the Credit Union of Colorado Foundation.  She volunteers preparing taxes for low income Adams County residents, with Girl Scouts of Colorado, with Adams 12 school district and with various other organizations.  Before retiring, JoAnn worked in accounting and finance for over 30 years.

​Trish O’Connor is a resident of Adams County and moved to the area in 2009.  Trish has worked for various non-profits in the Denver area until she moved into food manufacturing with Kroger Manufacturing, where she has been for 10 years.  Now that her daughter is in high school, she has been able to start volunteering in the community by being a High School Mentor/Coach for Big Ideas Project and volunteering time at the Riverdale Animal Shelter.  Trish received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree.

Vince A. Chowdhury is and Adams County resident and business owner.  His 10+ years on many elected and appointed boards and commissions make him well versed in public policy matters. Vince has served in  countless communities including the City of Aurora and Arapahoe County for the past 10 years. He is a recognized collaborator with community leaders and elected officials
at the local, state and federal level.
