This Adams County grant provides financial support to nonprofit and publicly supported organizations to operate programs that improve the health, welfare, and quality of life of Adams County residents. The Community Enrichment Grant (CEG) can fill a gap in service costs or serve as a match to other grants. Applicant organizations must be registered with the Colorado Secretary of State.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Adams County accepts applications for the Community Enrichment Grant once a year. Organizations will complete the application linked to the website to apply for the grant. Only one application per organization will be considered.
ELIGIBILITY
Organizations with 501(c) status or that are publicly supported are eligible to apply for the grant. A publicly supported organization, according to the IRS, receives a substantial part of its support in the form of contributions from governmental units, and/or the general public. Nonprofit organizations that do not have a 501(c) designation can apply through a 501(c)(3) fiscal agent. Applicant organizations must be registered with the Colorado Secretary of State. Applications must be complete and submitted with all required documents by the deadline to be considered.

• Basic needs or self-sufficiency.
• Education, workforce development, out-of-school activities, mentoring.
• Housing resources for underserved populations.

Projects and programs must directly impact Adams County residents. Grant applications must identify the percentage of Adams County residents served or who will be served by a project or program.
Direct Service Definition: This grant will only fund costs directly related to the project or program. Therefore, agency administrative costs for personnel can only be funded if the staff member(s) are providing services for the project or program to operate. The same is true for materials, supplies, equipment purchases, rent and utilities for a building, and other activities that are necessary to operate the program/project for residents in Adams County.
Board Costs and Food: The costs for board meetings and food for meetings is not an eligible expense. Food that is provided to serve low-income residents is an eligible cost. For example, food pantries and food programs serving youth are welcome to apply for funds.
Financial reports: Please make sure you include an organizational and project budget and income and expense reports for the program and organization in your application.
Duplicate Funding: Some Cities in Adams County provide similar grant funding. Please include in your application or financial reports the amount, if any, that your project/program/activity was funded with City funding.

Only complete applications submitted by the deadline with the required financial statement attached will be considered for funding.
